Joel V. Brill, MD, FACP will contribute his expertise in managed care, advanced payment models and healthcare policy to the specialty pharmacy
Avella has announced that Joel V. Brill, MD, FACP will be serving as Medical Advisor for the organization. Dr. Brill brings more than 30 years of clinical and leadership experience to this leading specialty pharmacy, as well as specific expertise in value-based care, advanced payment models and leading-edge healthcare programs. Dr. Brill is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and is the Chief Medical Officer of Predictive Health. Over his career, he has served as a medical director for several managed care organizations and run risk-bearing independent practice organizations and physician-hospital organizations. Dr. Brill is highly skilled in the implementation of value-driven health programs and bundled/episode payments, and is recognized for his expertise in coding, coverage, and reimbursement.
