IMBRUVICA has a new look

IMBRUVICA is transitioning from 140mg capsules to multiple-strength tablets. This helps patients because:

  • Patients can now take one pill per day rather than multiple capsules, no matter their dosage
  • Pills are contained in a blister pack, making tracking dosages and staying on therapy easier
  • Tablet is the same size or smaller than capsules
  • Patients receive a 4-week supply and pack includes refill reminder on day 21

Providers, here's what you need to know

Changing from Imbruvica capsules to tablets is not an automatic substitute, every patient will need a new prescription featuring the new NDCs. Some important details to note:

  • It is available March 21, 2018, with the 140mg capsules no longer available after May 15, 2018
  • Tablets contain the same active ingredient, so recommended dosing remains the same
