PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency Program

Take your pharmacy education to the next level at Avella

We're Not Like the Rest

A national specialty pharmacy that still feels small

Our goal is to develop clinical pharmacists who provide advanced patient care services in a specialty pharmacy environment.

During this 12-month post-graduate program, the clinical pharmacists work with manufacturers, third party payors and other healthcare professionals to manage patient medication therapy and help to improve patient outcomes.

Avella's residency program is based at the National Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. The specialty pharmacy location offers a variety of patient care services to support chronic, complex specialty disease states such as: oncology, hepatitis c, inflammation, HIV, multiple sclerosis, fertility, pain/addiction management, cardiovascular disease, IG and infusion therapy, ophthalmology and organ transplant.
